On-Site Casual Service Rates

Casual rates (inc GST) per hour. Response time is subject to demand and availability.

Home Users (Day/Night)
Standard Home User On-Site Rates;

  • Call out Fee $60.00
  • Hourly Rate $80.00

Minimum charge is $140 ex GST ($60 call out fee plus $80 for up to 1 hour).
Additional time charged in 15 minute increments. Average response time is next business day.

Business (Day)
Standard Business On-Site Rates;

  • Call out Fee $0.00
  • Hourly Rate $155.00

Minimum charge is $155 inc GST ($0 call out fee plus $155 for up to 1 hour).
Additional time charged in 15 minute increments. Average response time is next business day.

Server/Domain Networks
Standard Business On-Site Rates;

  • Call out Fee $0.00
  • Hourly Rate $180.00

Minimum charge is $360 inc GST ($0 call out fee plus $360 for up to 2 hours).
Additional time charged in 15 minute increments. Average response time is next business day.

Express Response Time On-Site Call-Out Fees
The following call out fees apply to express call-outs for both home and business.

  • Express Service – response time within 8 hrs $180.00 inc GST plus applicable hourly rate
  • Emergency Service – response time within 2 hrs $380.00 inc GST plus applicable hourly rate.

After Hours On-Site and Remote for all Job (before 8am and after 6pm Mon-Fri) $180.00 per hour

Cancelation Fees

Byte IT Solutions will charge a cancelation fee equivalent to the value of the call out fee for all cancelled on-site job bookings.


Phone Support

Casual rates (inc GST) per 15 minutes. Phone Support / Help Desk / Remote Access Support for Servers and Workstations. Minimum charge for all jobs is 15 minutes with additional time charged in 15 minute increments.

Home Users
Standard phone support for Home Users;

  • Telephone Support $20.00 per 15mins

Business
Standard phone and remote access support for Business;

  • Telephone Support $130.00 per hour, minimum charge of 1 hour

Terms of Service

All rates are exclusive of GST. The minimum Service Fee applies to all On-Site Bookings. All Services Jobs are Strictly COD unless arrangement has been made otherwise. On-going fees apply for late payments. Service availability is Mon-Friday 8AM – 6:00PM. After Hours rate of $180 per hour ex GST plus relevant call out fees applies to all jobs, on-site or remote carried out on Saturday and Sundauys or before 8am and after 6pm on weekdays. Response time, Express and Emergency service is subject to availability. All job sheets must be signed by the client and in doing so you agree that the technician has rectified the problem. Technicians who work a full day are entitled to ½ hour Lunch break. Remote access support requires a static WAN (internet) IP address at the clients end as well as an initial standard on site service call in order to configure your computers for remote access. If travel time exceeds 40 minutes fixed call out fees no longer apply and travel time will be charged at the standard on site rate. Time is billed in 15 minute increments.
